The Dashboard-Tool is the first service offered within the Brightlayer Industrial Machinery ecosystem. In the current version 1.0 it is targeted to deliver an economically attractive environment to a wide variety of users in various industries. The tool offers high flexibility on the display of every kind of data provided by an application. Access right to this data can easily be shared and assigned to different users or user groups. The high scalability of the tool makes it a perfect choice for small to medium size businesses as well as to intenational enterprises with a huge number of global sites.
With the Brigthlayer Industrial Machinery 1.0 version Eaton introduces the digital twin for the motor application. This widget provides all data from a motor installed in the application in a compact and easy-to-use format. In addition the widget supports the following features in this version:
Support of the CODESYS library “CMS 1.0” for easy integration and data transfer
Smart alarming. Showing alarms generated in the application and offering to
Parameter indication. Showing a selected list of parameters for a connected drive and Eaton’s electronic motor protection switch PKE.
Inventory management. Showing a list of products (Starter, Protection, 3rd party) installed in the application with additional inventory data
In addition to all enhancements or changes related to the improvements and fixes of the software, the following improvements or modifications have been made in the area of documentation.
The terms of service and the data privacy statement have been added to the documentation section. This was done as a reference for users to have quick access to theses documents.
The NubisNet gateways have been specifically designed to work with the Brightlayer Industrial Machinery tools and services. Therefore this quick start guide has been added to the documentation with the following sections:
